A campaign for the Holland Community Aquatic Center!

The Holland Community Aquatic Center opened in 1968, and since then, we have served over 200,000 local families. We are proud to be one of our area’s most popular community assets! Surrounded by water, our region has always appreciated the fun that can be had at the beach, at local swim meets, through water safety classes for young children, or at the community pool with friends and family throughout the week. Every day, we serve individuals, families, area schools, senior citizens and visitors to our community.

Unfortunately, our pool facilities are aging at the same time that demand for more community wellness activities is increasing. The voters of Holland, with broad public support, recently approved a $26.3 million bond issue to renovate and expand our facility.

We now have a unique opportunity to add additional fitness and wellness components to our original plan through the Happy Families, Healthy Communities campaign, a $3 million fundraising effort to complement public funding and to turn the Holland Aquatic Center into one of the best community wellness centers in the nation.

Support for this plan is strong, and we are now seeking charitable gifts to help achieve our goal. A healthy and happy community benefits everyone. We hope you’ll join us in making Happy Families, Healthy Communities a big success and our community a healthier place to live!
